INDICATION: Prevention of Aujeszky's disease.

DOSAGE: 2 mL/pig, from 10 wks of age, for all weights, ages and sex. By intranasal or IM inj into the neck muscle. For intramuscular administration, either red aqueous solvent (W) or white solvent (A3) can be employed. For intranasal adminis­tration, use red aqueous solvent (W), applying 1 mL in each nostril. Recommended vaccination program: Fattening pigs: 1 dose by IM route, at approximately 12-13 wks old, i.e. when passive mater­nal immunity has decreased to very low levels. In endemic areas, vaccinate at 10-11 wks of age and revaccinate at 13-14 wks of age. Sows and boars: 2 vaccinations at 3-4 wk intervals in future breeders when entering the premises or in breeders which have not been previously vacci­nated. Thereafter, revaccinate every 4 mos, or at 4-6 wks before each farrowing. In case of an Aujeszky's disease outbreak, vaccinate the entire herd (sows, boars and piglets) with 1 dose. For IM route, either red aqueous solvent (W) or white solvent (A3) can be employed. For intra­nasal administration, use red aqueous solvent (W), applying 1 mL in each nostril.
